Ajax Adventure Camp

A little preview of a flip-book concept done with the staff at Ajax Adventure Camp. This is the founder of the camp, Danny Hundert.

Just got finished shooting for two weeks in Aspen for them--www.ajaxadventurecamp.com--a great camp for kids looking to go crazy with activities like cow-pie baseball or yelling at things, as well as the standard mountain biking, rock climbing, and hiking you'd expect in a place like Aspen.

Scanning Time

Lots of projects in the works, but for now, here are a few from the archives--film scans from a Leica M2 and 1950s Summicron 50mm.

From the Archives

Now that it's summer in LA, it's almost time to bring out the underwater camera for some more water shooting. Here are a few from the archives, shot almost exactly a year ago from today.

Recent Work

A quick glimpse of two recent shoots.

First up is Rohan Duesker, Co-Founder and CEO of Stylitics, a fashion analytics company that I'm excited to be working with--stay tuned for much more work with them. To borrow a line from Rohan and the Stylitics website, "Stylitics is a fashion insights company that provides a better way for brands to understand and connect with consumers." Stylitics recently won the Wharton Business Plan Competition, and you can check them out at www.stylitics.com.

The second image is a quick portrait of USA Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin. I was asked to photograph her recent speaking engagement in Philadelphia, and grabbed a quick portrait with the 5 time Olympic medalist after she spoke.

Rebecca Meaders & Home for the Summer

Here are a few images from a portrait session with Rebecca Meaders, just before I left Philly for the summer. Now, a few weeks in LA before heading to Aspen, CO where I'll be shooting new advertising work for Ajax Adventure Camp, which promises to be a great bunch of shooting. I'll be updating the blog more regularly now, so check back often for images from the archives as I catch up on editing before embarking on the trip to CO. Thanks to Rebecca for a great shoot, a true joy to work with!

Lupe Fiasco, Flo Rida, and Ratatat

This past weekend I had the chance to shoot Lupe Fiasco, Flo Rida, and Ratatat for a sold out show at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. Penn's SPEC did a killer job putting on the show, and all 8,000+ fans had a great time, despite the cold. Below are a few lives images from the night, plus a pair of pre-show portraits.

Welcome to the blog!

Welcome!

This year was full of changes. Now, having completed a cross-country move to Philadelphia,  business is established on this new coast, so it's time to join the blogosphere and new work. The past few weeks have been full of concert work and fashion portraits, many of which are slowly but surely making their way onto www.evanrobinsonphotography.com. Stay tuned for lots of blog posts in the near future!

To whet everybody's apetite, below are a few images from a recent series with RJD2and  Gold Panda at The Arch in Philadelphia. Some great music, a few back stage portraits, plus a great job by the lighting crew made the night a real success.

Thanks to the promoter, Penn's SPEC, for putting on a great show and having me out for the night.
